OK, hi hello. Getting back into the wellness world over here. Today we’re going to talk Dr. Davis’ Wheat Belly 10-Day Detox. & it’s going to be fun. I read the Wheat Belly books cover-to-cover and my mom & I have been debating on doing the WB 10-day grain detox for a while now and we finally just did it. So basically this WB10DGD is about detoxing your body from grains – allllll of the wheat / grains / stomach-hating foods that I don’t normally eat, but over an intensive 10-day period of time. I eat gluten free, as you probably already know & it’s not by choice. I get a really upset stomach for D A Y S if I eat gluten and I basically go days without feeling like myself after ingesting gluten. I still eat…

Anxiety is like the most crippling, overwhelming, exhausting and frustrating thing to experience. It consumes all of your time, emotions and energy. Sometimes it’s sickening, other times it’s just there – in the back of your mind, but still THERE nonetheless. I’ve had it for honestly as long as I can remember. I remember when I was in early elementary school, my bestie used to come over for supper every Tuesday ( spaghetti & Caesar salads with a bowl of shredded cheddar cheese was our FAV ) before we had to rush to dance practice & I would have to say “my grandparents are on the phone for me” and I’d disappear downstairs for a few minutes. Okay, so loves, have you ever caught the tea bug? I mean like when all you want to do is drink heavenly tea, whether it be a nice hot cuppa or a tumbler full of its equally delicious, icy counterpart? The days where you just can’t seem to find enough hours in the day to drink as much tea as you wish you could…  I mean, maybe it’s only me? Please reassure me that it isn’t and that my obsession with tea is totally normal and justifiable. But seriously. There are a ton of reasons as to why I love tea. I mean 1) it can be used as a great way to catch up with a long-lost friend or as a way to spend time with a see-all-the-time kind of bestie ( who doesn’t love…

Hey, hey! How the heck is it Wednesday already!? Seriously this week is FLYING by. Before we know it it’ll be the weekend again & then the weekend will be over and we’ll be saying “how the heck is it Wednesday already?” again! I don’t know about you, but like I said this year is FLYING and all of the weeks feel so short. First things first: a quick background on the way I eat and live my life. I don’t want to share what I ate without any background because I think it’s important to not BASE YOUR EATING off of someone else’s. I eat for my body, I eat for my way of living and I eat the food that I know my body needs / loves based on what I’ve learned from doing…

Hello my loves. When I was away in Cuba, we met for breakfast every day at 8 am because we all decided that we didn’t want to waste away our days by sleeping in until noon and also, if you’ve ever been to Cuba you know that breakfast is BY FAR the best meal of the day. I mean freshly made omelettes from the omelette bar, pineapple, crispy hashbrowns and bacon that actually looks & tastes like it should ( not that I ate it often but from what everyone else was saying, it was delicious ). One day, Alexah, Hannah and I even set our alarms for the ungodly hour of 5 am to wake up and watch the sunrise. And although we didn’t get to actually watch the sunrise ( it was taking FOREVER…
