OMG hi. Currently dying – as in: arms are shaking, legs are vibrating, heart rate is UP and I’m chugging back a green smoothie with protein and downing all of the water because I just completed week 2, day 1 of Kayla Itsines’ BBG… I started last week on week 1 and I’m addicted to this workout plan. Ugh, it’s December so OF COURSE I am sick. I feel like it’s a tradition… every year around Christmastime, I get sick. Seriously, for as far back as I can remember, it happens. I remember one year when I was in elementary school, I spent Christmas Eve sitting in the ambulance bay at the children’s hospital, with my mom and grandmother, trying to breathe in the cool, fresh air until I could see the nurse for my steroid shot. I’ve been fighting off this bug since Friday night and I’ve actually created a nice little routine of healthy habits. I’m trying to hard to boost my immune system, rest up and feel better before the craziness of the holidays really hit. Plus… I may or may not still need to do a bit more Christmas shopping……

OK, so hi. I don’t know about you, but the first month or two after summer is always the absolute worst for getting sick and feeling crappy. Sitting in class, I can seriously WATCH people come down with colds and other sicko sicknesses that I really don’t want / have time for. There’s a ton of things that can help prevent you from catching cold & flu bugs, but I mean ultimately you’re bound to get sick once in a while ( unfortunately )… no matter how hard you try to avoid it.
