So today I’m linking up again & sharing what’s up on Wednesday… this link up happens on the last Wednesday of each month and each month there’s a bonus question.
This month is “what’s your favourite Easter tradition?” since Easter will be almost here & gone by the next link up!
What we’re eating this week:
This week it’s been a lot of clean and green meals, tons of berries and Glutino bagels. Glutino bread products are seriously my go-to. I’ve tried so many gluten free bread products and none are even comparable to Glutino, they are amazeeeee.
What I’m reminiscing about:
This time last year I was prepping to go to Florida for a week over March Break. This year we aren’t going anywhere for the break & I’m stuck working so I’m most definitely reminiscing about this!
What I’m loving:
I am loving my Nars creamy concealer! My boyfriend bought it for me for Christmas and I use it 24/7. I used to use concealer from Caryl Baker and then CB closed in my city ( province! ) and I was so sad. I never thought I’d find a concealer that worked as well as it and matched my skin as well, but the Nars creamy concealer is right up there, it might even pass it!
I’ve also been looooving my blog again… I really did fall out of love with it but now I’m focusing on it and I’m obsessed again. So maybe my blog is my #1 love lately.
What we’ve been up to:
Lately I’ve been working out, eating healthy, starting to run again and
trying to do failing at doing school work. I’ve been spending a lot of time outside, walking and soaking up this beautiful spring like weather we’ve been having.
What I’m dreading:
I am dreading the rest of this term. UGH. Seriously the next 2ish months CANNOT go by fast enough! I’m tired of reading books for school. I want to read my fun books!
What I’m working on:
Tons of blog posts! School work, reading novels for school, planning work for the summer ( hopefully all goes as planned! ) and saving money.
What I’m excited about:
Cuba! Only 62 days until a trip with my boyfriend and my bestfriend plus a ton of others! I’ve been twice before, so I’m pretty excited to go again! I cannot wait for hot weather, sunshine and a week of relaxing.
What I’m watching/reading:
I’m watching everything. Seriously. I am a TV addict! Chicago Fire, Chicago Med & Chicago Med ARE SO GOOD. Pretty Little Liars, The First 48 and NightWatch are also my favourites. There’s honestly a ton more too, I just can never think of my fav shows when I’m asked.
You can check out what I’m reading here, plus I’m reading Double Indemnity for class. But then next week I’m reading a different one, Day of the Locust I believe. #ughhhhh
What I’m listening to:
Currently I’m listening to a ton of Missy Elliott, Zayn Malik’s new song Pillow Talk is a fav, Home Alone Tonight by Luke Bryan and also tons of Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez.
What I’m wearing:
I’m loving cardigans, especially super drapey ones or nice, chunky knit ones. Pairing these with a white t shirt or a Soft & Sexy tee / tank from AE, with ripped jeans or black leggings and you’ve got my go-to outfit.
What I’m doing this weekend:
This weekend will probably include a few more walks ( praying that the weather stops being rainy! ) and teaching a few ballet classes. Plus my aunt is down, so I’m super excited to see her! We’ll probably be planning out our summer vacation to the beach house which will is super fun. I cannot wait to see her! I just love spending time with my family.
What I’m looking forward to next month:
Definitely Easter! Easter is so my favourite holiday. Plus I’m looking forward to being done this term which ends basically as soon as March ends. I think April 6 is the last day of classes… so the term starts winding down & I couldn’t be more thankful.
What else is new:
Not much, other than even though my brother’s basketball team had such a good season they did end up losing the gold medal game this weekend in overtime by 6 points, but we just got word that they’ll still be able to go to provincials! Can’t wait to go and cheer them on, even though they kicked their families butts ( AKA me, my dad and Daniel! ) last night in a family VS team game! We’re still their biggest fans.
What’s your favourite Easter tradition:
I honestly don’t have a favourite tradition that’s specific to Easter, but I always love getting together and having dinner with my family and just hanging out on the weekend when the stores are closed.
